At the mention of his emotional and striking vocals in the group’s title track “0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You) feat. Seori” during his Weverse Magazine interview, Yeonjun opened up about the struggles that made it possible.

He initially didn’t want anyone to hear his voice. Yeonjun said, “When I first learned how to sing, I honestly hated my voice so much that I thought maybe I just shouldn’t sing at all.

With the gift of a voice as unique as his, it couldn’t go to waste. Following some encouragement, Yeonjun realized its beauty and worked to polish it.

He continued, “But the label emphasized the unique qualities of my voice and made it special, so I practiced a lot to show off my uniqueness.

The company wasn’t the only one to appreciate Yeonjun’s voice. He’s honed his vocals so well that fans can enjoy its uniqueness as well. Yeonjun added, “Now I know how to put my own spin on whatever I’m singing, so MOA often say my voice stands out too.

Though differences can make people insecure, it’s what makes everyone shine. Check out Yeonjun’s unique vocals that he’s not only improved but grown to appreciate.
