WINNER’s Mino Reveals Seungyoon’s Secret Weapon For Breaking Up Fights In The Group

It’s a clever technique.

K-Pop idols are known to be to be so close to their members that it’s to the point where they consider each other family. While great relationships and tight bonds are made between members, WINNER‘s Mino and Seungyoon stated that there are also some more difficult times.

In the most recent episode of SBS‘s My Ugly Duckling, WINNER’s Mino and Seungyoon appeared as guests!

During the episode, the show’s MC Shin Dong Yup asked the two if the members of WINNER ever fight and how they resolve the issues that occur in the group.

Do you guys have your own ways of resolving issues? You must fight with each other sometimes.

— Shin Dong Yup

Mino revealed that, just like everyone else, they do fight and explained that they especially argued a lot when they were younger or on tour.

When asked how they usually settle their arguments, Seungyoon commented that it’s never the whole group in one argument. With that said, Seungyoon claimed that things usually calm down when those not involved in the fight mediate.

Amazingly enough, it’s rare to have all of the members fight with each other. Normally, you’d just fight…with one person. The members who are not involved in the fight.. tend to intervene. That’s how it always has been.

— Seungyoon

To help the viewers better comprehend what he explained, Seungyoon brought up an example of a heated argument between Mino and Jinu.

The recent fight I remember…was between JINU and MINO. I was sandwiched between them. That’s how it was, and all of us ended up crying.

— Seungyoon

Though Seungyoon shared the story to be helpful, it hilariously backfired. Mino clarified that it was Seungyoon who started crying first out of all the members.

No, that’s not what happened. I don’t remember why I fought with Jinu. I can’t really remember. It was in the middle of our tour. After a performance, we talked with each other at the hotel. We had disagreements, and things got heated. It was quite serious. We almost had a fistfight. We were in the middle of the fight, and Seung Yoon tried to stop us. But Seungyoon ended up crying first. He wailed like this, so we stopped fighting…and comforted him. We told him that we’re sorry.

— Mino

Seungyoon admitted that he did cry first but also clarified that Mino and Jinu cried with him. Despite being a bit embarrassed, Shin Dong Yup and Seo Jang Hoon claimed it was a good method of breaking up fights: “Seungyoon’s biggest weapon is his tears.

Regardless of who cried first or how intense the argument was, Mino and Seungyoon agreed that their quarrels always bring them closer together.

You become a little embarrassed afterward, but your ties become stronger.
