BTS’s J-Hope Posted A Picture With J-Cole And ARMYs Can’t Keep Calm

BTS, the kings of manifestation.

BTS‘s J-Hope and Jimin attended the Lollapalooza festival on July 30. Among the prominent names in the lineup, J Cole is a special artist for both BTS and ARMYs. So, when J-Hope posted a picture with him, fans couldn’t keep calm.

J Cole has been a musical idol for BTS’s rappers for a really long time. In 2013, the group released a song called “Born Singer,” which was an adapted version of J Cole’s “Born Sinner.” The track evidently means a lot to both them and their fans, given how they went the extra mile to get it cleared for an official release in their anthology album Proof.

In another song called “Hip Hop Phile,” J-Hope namedropped J Cole in this line: “Hope hope world, before I built my own world, there was Cole world.” His Instagram caption (“Hope world meets cole world”) references the same line. So, it is understandable why fans feel emotional with this interaction.

J-Hope also paid tribute to J Cole through his first mixtape Hope World. The name was inspired by the album Cole World: The Sideline Story.

Fast forward a few years, now he is ready to headline a music festival where his role model is also performing. Could there be a better full-circle moment?
