Song Joong Ki and Katy Louise Saunders were spotted on a movie date recently, their first public date sighting together and the first since announcing their marriage.
According to an exclusive report from Money Today, Song Joong Ki and Katy Louise Saunders were spotted leaving the COEX Megabox movie theater on February 8 around 9pm. Katy’s family also joined the two at the movie theater. The COEX Megabox theater is located around 20 minutes away from the couple’s newlywed home in Itaewon. The couple and Katy’s family reportedly enjoyed a movie in Megabox’s Boutique Suite, which offers plush recliner chairs, sofas, and dining services that will be brought to your seat.
In the pictures, Song Joong Ki can be seen wearing a casual outfit and kept his attention fixed on Katy Louise Saunders as she went up the escalator.
It was also noted that even though Korea lifted its indoor mask mandate back on January 30, both Song Joong Ki and Katy were wearing masks inside.
Money Today attempted to get into contact with Song Joong Ki’s agency for a comment, but the agency did not respond. As previously reported, Katy Louise Saunders’ family is currently staying in Korea with the couple to assist her during her pregnancy. This is especially more important as Song Joong Ki will have to leave for Hungary soon to film his new K-Drama My Name is Loh Kiwan.
