Weathercaster Accused In The Late Oh Yoanna’s Workplace Bullying Controversy Causes A Stir With Resurfaced Social Media Post
Currently, MBC and some of its employees are under major fire over the death of weathercaster Oh Yoanna.

In the midst of this controversy, another weathercaster Park Ha Myeong‘s past social media posts have added more fuel to the fire.

The post, which was originally uploaded on September 24, KST, 2024, hinted at Park’s severe emotional distress.
When I get in my car after work, I just breakdown. The small space of my car in the underground parking lot is the place where I cry the most. At this point, I don’t even know how much pain I am in.
— Park Ha Myeong
She continued, “I keep trying to get better in whichever way possible and tell myself to smile and work hard. But the world keeps sending me new bombs as if to mock me.” The weathercaster expressed deep exhaustion, saying, “I just want to be at peace.”
Park’s tone in the post implied that she felt she was being unfairly wronged.
I feel like I’m a good person and that I have lived a good life. But what did I do so wrong in my past life?…I don’t even have the strength to say that I’m having a hard time these days.
— Park Ha Myeong
Interestingly, this post was made shortly after Oh Yoanna passed away on September 15, leaving behind a will claiming that she was being bullied at work. Since Park is one of the main suspects in this case, many believe that the post expressed her true feelings regarding the death of Oh.
Despite the allegations, Park Ha Myeong continues to host a weather broadcast on MBC. The public, however, has turned against her. She closed her social media comment section as netizens started criticizing her.
Meanwhile, MBC has decided to form a fact-finding committee to investigate Oh Yoanna’s death and the truth behind the workplace bullying scandal.
