Actor Park Bo Gum’s K-Drama Production Staff Leaves Viral Comment About Him On YouTube
In the latest episode of comedian Yoo Jae Suk‘s YouTube show Pinggyego, co-stars and good friends Park Bo Gum and IU guested to promote their new Netflix K-Drama, When Life Gives You Tangerines.
Once the episode aired, the video—filled with Park Bo Gum and IU’s chemistry—received tremendous attention. But since then, one comment left under the video has gone viral!
The comment, said to be from a production staff who worked alongside Park Bo Gum on the set of his 2020 K-Drama Record of Youth, praised the actor for what a genuinely good-natured person he is.
Bo Gum-nim, it’s been a long time. I was a production staff member on Record of Youth! I still remember how you took the bus alone on your day off to visit us, carrying pizza… How you served us the pizza and chatted with us for three hours, how you would rewatch your own work for hours to improve, how you walked around with a notepad, taking coffee orders, and how, when heading home, you’d lead the way with your phone in hand, saying, ‘Let’s take a picture!’
When I sent you just a single video via email, you’d send back a long message thanking me. Even three days before enlisting, you came by to say goodbye. You always treated me with so much friendliness, like a younger brother—I will never forget you, Bo Gum!
There are so, so, so many more heartwarming stories, I simply can’t even write them all.
You were honestly the nicest person I’ve ever met in entire life. And I know you’ll always be a kind soul. I truly hope for your continued success and that we can see you for a long time.
