The mention came out of nowhere.

American rapper Azealia Banks has caught the attention of K-Pop fans after unexpectedly mentioning BTS‘s Jungkook during a recent online feud.

The incident took place on X (formerly known as Twitter), where Banks was engaged in a back-and-forth with an influencer known to fans as “Ducki.” The two exchanged harsh comments, mostly targeting each other’s appearance and body types.

Things escalated when Banks compared Ducki’s physique to that of BTS’s Jungkook. She specifically commented on Ducki’s abdominal muscles.

THIS, is a man’s abdomen. A woman’s body doesn’t cut like this. You look like Bruce Lee b*tch SAttdown Jackie Chan. It’s giving JUNGKOOK b*tch FOH.

The comment immediately sparked reactions from ARMYs and K-Pop fans across the platform. Some fans interpreted the comparison as a compliment, pointing out Jungkook’s well-known toned figure and abs, which are often highlighted during performances and photo shoots.

However, others weren’t as amused. Many accused Banks of using Jungkook’s name for attention and criticized the tone of her comment. Some fans felt it was unnecessary and disrespectful to drag an unrelated artist into a personal feud. Others also accused her of being transphobic.

This isn’t the first time Azealia Banks has made headlines for her controversial online behavior, but few fans are as protective as K-Pop fans whenever their idols are unexpectedly pulled into drama.
