Male Stalker Gets Indicted For Illegally Entering NJZ’s (NewJeans) Dorm Multiple Times
According to reports on May 1, KST, a man in his 20s was recently indicted for unlawfully breaking into the apartment where NJZ (NewJeans) members previously stayed.

According to the Seoul Western District Prosecutors’ Office, the suspect, referred to as “A,” was charged on April 25, KST, with theft and trespassing. Investigations revealed that he had broken into NJZ’s old dorm in Yongsan, Seoul, on December 21, 2023, and stolen hangers, banners, and other items that were left behind after the members moved out of the house.

Shockingly, this was not a one-time incident. “A” had reportedly trespassed before as well, on December 18, and returned later, using the opportunity of the door being left unlocked.
Though NJZ had already vacated the dorm, this disturbing and continuous breach has sparked serious concerns about the idols’ safety and privacy. Notably, the incident was eerily similar to a threat made against the members last year, when an anonymous post claimed to have located NJZ’s dorm.

However, authorities have not confirmed any link between the threatening post and A’s crime.
Meanwhile, NJZ is currently involved in a legal conflict with ADOR over the validity of the members’ exclusive contracts with the label. Read more about it here:
