There has been no official response.

On June 1, KST, 2NE1 returned to the stage to perform at the Head In The Clouds festival in Los Angeles. However, they took the stage as a trio with CL, Minzy, and Sandara Park in attendance. The fourth member, Park Bom, did not appear in the entire duration of the performance.

Park’s absence has triggered speculations, more so because her social media updates showed that she was in LA as recently as May 21.

The fact that Park didn’t participate in the group performance despite being possibly present in the city at the same time has raised speculations. Moreover, the remaining three members made celebratory posts about the show but didn’t address Park Bom’s absence.

As of now, no official statement has been made about the reason Park Bom sat out such a high-profile reunion concert after successfully finishing the group’s Welcome Back tour.
