On August 15, KST, the former idol posted a couple of photos on his Instagram account, showing his appearance on the Japanese music show, Room 70 Residents, which is aired on TOKYO MX.

The pictures featured Park posing in front of the waiting room while smiling and striking a V pose and standing beside the host of the show.

Given that Park has been mostly active in Japan in recent times, these posts were not out of the ordinary. However, the fact that he made Japan-related posts on August 15 while not acknowledging the importance of the day in Korean history has invited criticism and disappointment from netizens.

Meanwhile, Park Yoochun’s image in Korea has already been marred by serious allegations of sexual assault and drug abuse. Despite his return to the industry, the Korean audience has not been very accepting of him as of yet.
