“Sugar Mommy”— Buzzfeed Interviewer’s Behind-The-Scenes Episode About Hwasa Goes Viral
An interviewer who recently worked with MAMAMOO member Hwasa has gone viral after recounting her unexpected behind-the-scenes interaction with the idol.
Hwasa recently did an interview with Buzzfeed UK, reacting to her viral moments over the years.
While the interview itself was a fun watch, the interviewer’s recounting of Hwasa’s off-camera behavior with her and the rest of the Buzzfeed crew has attracted the attention of fans as well.
The interviewer, Sepi, revealed that after the interview, Hwasa had to leave for another schedule immediately. However, before leaving, she asked the interviewer if she and the rest of the staff members had any plans after the shoot and whether they had eaten. When Sepi replied saying that they hadn’t eaten but had plans to go out and eat together, Hwasa offered to pay for all of their meals!

“We were just so overwhelmed,” Sepi recalled, adding that despite their protests, Hwasa insisted on paying for their dinner as a token of thanks. The unexpected gesture left the whole Buzzfeed team flabbergasted and in awe of the idol’s genuine kindness.
The video has since gone viral on X (former Twitter), with fans praising Hwasa’s generosity.
