It was reported that the dog bit a neighbor on September 30, 2017. The neighbor a woman in her 50s, who later suffered from septic shock caused by Bugsy’s bite and passed away in hospital on October 6.

Debates followed over where blame fell with her death, as the dog was unleashed and reportedly had a history of biting. Her family later forgave Siwon’s family, with reports stating that Bugsy had been sent away.
