In a recent video, he also offered an unexpected apology about the super secret wedding.

On September 11, Kim Jong Kook shared a video showing some of the behind the scenes of his wedding, including when he told some of his celebrity friends about the events.

During a part of the video where he addressed fans, he offered an apology for the wedding being so private and his inability to share much.

Thank you to everyone who congratulated me on my marriage. I will work hard to live well. […] Due to various circumstances, we held the ceremony quietly, so I feel sorry that I wasn’t able to share much with you. I ask for your understanding. I also feel sorry to those who may have felt fatigued by the news related to me. I’m grateful to those who have understood the situation.
