MBC Weathercasters Spark Outrage On The First Anniversary Of Oh Yoanna’s Death
MBC weathercasters are under fire for their behavior on the first anniversary of the late Oh Yoanna’s passing.
The 28-year-old weathercaster died on September 15th, 2024, with suspicions later surfacing that she had faced workplace bullying before her death. Her case sparked outrage after it was revealed that MBC terminated the contract of an alleged perpetrator but renewed contracts with other colleagues.
On the one year anniversary of her passing, MBC weathercasters Lee Hyun Seung, Geum Chae Rim, and Kim Ga Young appeared in black or navy outfits, drawing attention.
Netizens left a slew of comments criticizing the weathercasters for appearing like they are mourning Oh Yoanna despite some of them being named as workplace bullies that lead to her death.
