BABYMONSTER member Chiquita has sparked intense discourse online with her supposed reaction to Ahyeon’s live vocals in a viral clip.
The clip in question is from the group’s recent performance of “We Go Up” on KBS CoolFM. Six members of the group appeared on Park Myung Soo’s Radio Show, where they sang the track completely live, earning high praise from listeners.
However, one particular moment from the video has sparked discussions about Ahyeon’s vocals during the performance. Near the end of the song, she was doing very high-pitched ad-libs while the other members were singing the chorus. When she started hitting the high note, Chiquita slowly removed her headphones, one ear after another. Many interpreted this moment as her reacting to how loud Ahyeon’s voice sounded through the headphones.
