Recently, it was reported that singer RETA legally terminated her contract with the agency, despite the contract still being in effect. The move came after a staff member of the company committed a home invasion and caused property damage.

Earlier this year, a staff member identified as Mr. Jeong reportedly entered RETA’s residence without her consent and meddled with her personal items. The case was investigated by the police and has been referred to the prosecution. The singer claimed that she never shared her residence’s password with the agency, and this unauthorized action significantly damaged the trust between her and the label. San E, who was also involved in this case, was not charged due to a lack of enough evidence.

RETA reportedly filed a complaint with the police in March, accusing San E and a company representative of unlawful intrusion and concealment of property. In the complaint, she claimed that while she was staying in China due to visa issues, San E instructed a company representative to enter her home and remove furniture and personal belongings stored there.

This case has once again put San E at the center of a controversy after he faced a special injury charge last year. In 2023, he came under investigation for allegedly assaulting a passerby with his mobile phone. The victim reportedly sustained facial and dental injuries. San E later issued an apology through his legal representative and in March 2024, the prosecution granted him a suspension of indictment.
