Re-Debuted Girl Group Announces Their Second Disbandment
An idol girl group is saying goodbye to fans for the second time in just three years.

MADMED (formerly known as MAD MEDiCiNE) is a six-member Japanese idol girl group that formed on April 17, 2022. They rebranded to MADMED on January 9, 2025 and introduced new members that same month. Only one member, Natsuki Jam, remains from the original lineup.

On December 12, the group made a bittersweet announcement: their first anniversary concert, which will take place on January 27, 2026, will also be their last performance as a group.

MADMED The Final Curtain
Only these six could create what they have made. Only these six could accomplish what they have achieved. For one year, MADMED has carried out its activities in order to exist as MADMED.
And now, so that each of them may move forward as their own selves. On the day of their first anniversary, MADMED will bring its story to its final act. We sincerely invite you to witness their final performance.

The members also personally addressed their disbandment. Enma Tora expressed her frustration and desire to continue with MADMED, while acknowledging that the group cannot do so. Even so, she confirmed that the members will remain with MADMED’s agency. They hope to continue their idol activities in the future.

Onaka Peco, who described MADMED as her “first and last idol group,” hopes that fans will continue to support them until the end.

Unfortunately, MADMED isn’t the only group who said goodbye to fans this month.
