On December 16, KST, the official channel of TXT posted a vlog featuring Soobin and his friend, who is a non-celebrity.

A day before the vlog’s upload, Soobin reached out to fans about it. He mentioned that to protect his friend’s privacy, his face had been completely blurred out in the video. But as an extra precaution, he clearly urged his fans not to try to track him down or contact him. He even requested people to refrain from trying to interact with his friends through social media.

Soobin then revealed that some people even managed to track down his middle school friends, and expressed his disapproval. He pointed out that being tracked down by strangers must be scary for non-celebrities and even warned that if it continued, it would become difficult for him to be candid with fans in the future.

Soobin’s words have sparked fierce reactions from fans, who were enraged that he had to spell it out for people in the first place.

This isn’t the first time a TXT member has had to call out fans for their inappropriate behavior.
