In 2014, actor Hong Jong Hyun and Girl’s Day‘s Yura became an on-screen married couple for episodes 223 to 262 of We Got Married. Recently, they officially reunited for the first time in twelve years.

On January 8, Yura’s YouTube channel, yurayurahae, released a new video featuring her Hong Jong Hyun as a surprise guest.
Since Yura’s staff secretly planned the reunion, Yura had no idea that her “ex-husband” would make a sudden reappearance.
Hong Jong Hyun and Yura had many heart-fluttering moments on We Got Married…
…and a few off-screen too!
During the June 21, 2014 episode of We Got Married, the couple kicked off their honeymoon with a camping trip. They also went wakeboarding and bungee jumping together.
During their reunion, Yura and Jong Hyun reminisced and paid tribute to some of their past moments, including the honeymoon. They didn’t go bungee jumping or wakeboarding this time…
After doing bungee jumping with you, bungee jumping is never happening again in my life. What is this feeling? It’s the kind of feeling I never want to experience again — seriously.

…but they did wrap up their reunion by spending time at a campground.

…and reflected on their We Got Married “marriage.” Although Yura wasn’t a fan of bungee jumping, she did enjoy the overseas trip they took to Bali. That was the first and only time Jong Hyun has ever been there.
“We did literally everything in Bali,” Yura said, “We dressed up in pretty outfits, went to parties, joined stuff at night…” “You went out and danced,” Jong Hyun cut in, surprising Yura.
Some We Got Married fans might remember that moment. Yura took to the stage while Jong Hyun cheered her on from the audience!
