Leaked Audio of Emotional Call Between Park Na Rae And Ex-Manager Adds Unexpected Twist To Ongoing Dispute
New questions are being raised about Park Na Rae‘s “power tripping” dispute as YouTuber Lee Jin Ho revealed an audio recording of an emotional phone conversation between the troubled comedian and her accusing ex-manager.
On January 9, 2026 (KST), Lee Jin Ho shared in his video, “exclusively obtained recordings of phone calls exchanged between Park Na Rae and ‘Manager A’ at around 1:40 AM on the night of their meeting.”

Timeline-wise, Park Na Rae is said to have reached out to her former manager first after the scandal involving her alleged mistreatment of the manager broke. The two then met in person for approximately three hours in the early hours of the morning on December 8, 2025, which later became known as the “settlement meeting.” This phone conversation is believed to have taken place right before the said meeting.

In the audio, Park Na Rae and the manager appear to reconcile as they comfort each other in tears. Park Na Rae asks the manager, “Are you okay?” to which the manager replies, bursting into tears, “I don’t know how things ended up like this.” The pair breaks down crying and continues the conversation through tears. When the manager shows concern for Bokdori, Park Na Rae’s new dog, the comedian softens and invites the manager to come see him.
Park Na Rae: Hello?
Manager: Yes…
Park Na Rae: Are you okay?
Manager: [Starts sobbing] I don’t know how things ended up like this.
Park Na Rae: [Sighs]
Manager: [Continues to sob]
Park Na Rae: Don’t cry.
Manager: [Sobs] I really did not want to come this far…
Park Na Rae: [Sobs] No, I also… Please don’t cry.
Manager: What about Bokdori? He needed to go to the vet on November 30. Did you go to that?
Park Na Rae: No… We missed that.
Manager: Oh, no! You should have taken him to the vet for heartworms. Why didn’t you go?!
Park Na Rae: We got his meds refilled, though. He just needs to take those.
Manager: No? They said he needs a shot, remember?
Park Na Rae: No, apparently, he doesn’t need it anymore. I asked the vet.
Manager: You called the vet?
Park Na Rae: Of course. I also updated his registration information to list my name as the owner.
Manager: [Sobs]
Park Na Rae: You should’ve come by to see him at least…
Then, the manager expresses anger at a redacted name, “Lee,” which is noted to be referring to Park Na Rae’s promotional agent. The two continue to seemingly “make up” as the manager worries and gets upset at Park Na Rae for smoking.
Toward the end of the recording, Park Na Rae asks the manager where she is, to which she responds that she is close to Park Na Rae’s home. It is assumed that Park Na Rae then told the manager to come over, and the two had the so-called “settlement meeting” in person.
Manager: I’m going to kill Lee!
Park Na Rae: [Sobs] Then you should have called!
Manager: [Screaming] Lee, you f*cking b*stard!
Park Na Rae: [Sobs] Oh, gosh… Listen.
Manager: Unnie, have you eaten?
Park Na Rae: No… I’m outside smoking.
Manager: Vaping?
Park Na Rae: No, I’m having a cigarette.
Manager: [Screams] Why! Do you want to go through another surgery? You already had four. Remember what the doctor said? He said you need to- Do you really want to lose your voice for good? Why would you smoke a cigarette?!
Park Na Rae: Because you aren’t here…
Manager: Geez…
Park Na Rae: You should be here, telling me not to smoke.
Manager: You’d still smoke even if I try to stop you.
Park Na Rae: No, I won’t.
Manager: I’m sorry. For the past three weeks, I’ve been trying to protect [the other manager involved] and… I’ve been in contact with the lawyers. There has been a lot going on. And I hadn’t been drinking, but today, I’m a little drunk.
Park Na Rae: It’s fine.
Manager: I just wasn’t sure I’d be able to answer the phone without a drink. And my lawyer also told me not to answer any phone calls in case Lee, that a*shole, might record and use it as evidence against me.
Park Na Rae: I see… Listen, why don’t you stop crying and… What are you doing tomorrow?
Manager: I’m at Itaewon right now.
Park Na Rae: Where in Itaewon?
Manager: I was drinking in Mapo-gu and now I’m close to your place.
Park Na Rae: Where?
Manager: I don’t know…
Park Na Rae: You don’t know where you are?
Manager: Somewhere near Itaewon… Close to your place.
Park Na Rae: Close to my place where?
Manager: Where am I…? I don’t know how to explain where I am.
Park Na Rae: I can’t with you… It’s so cold outside today! Where could you possibly be?
Manager: [Sobs]
Park Na Rae: My goodness… You silly thing…
Manager: [Incomprehensible rambling] I hate how things are right now!
In fact, Park Na Rae then posted a statement on her Instagram on December 8, noting, “I was finally able to meet with my former managers yesterday. We were able to clear up the misunderstandings and distrust between us, but I still believe everything is my fault and I am deeply reflecting on it.”

YouTuber Lee Jin Ho added, “[The phone conversation] explains why Park Na Rae said that she and the manager ‘cried it out and cleared up misunderstandings,’ claiming to have resolved all conflict.”
The early-morning meeting lasted about three hours, and from Park Na Rae’s perspective, it seems she believed everything had been sufficiently resolved. But when the manager woke up around 2 PM later that day, their attitude reportedly changed completely.

However, the manager then chose to escalate the conflict by refuting Park Na Rae’s statement, arguing, “There was no sincere apology or settlement.” The manager also accused Park Na Rae of being drunk at the settlement meeting (when, through the recording, it has been revealed that she was the one who was drunk/had been drinking).
Park Na Rae Accused Of Being Drunk During Settlement Meeting
A screenshot of KakaoTalk messages from Park Na Rae, shared among the logs of messages provided by the manager herself, shows the comedian confused by the escalation:

Park Na Rae: Hey, [manager’s name]…
As the press kept coming at me with information that isn’t true, I ended up being completely overwhelmed. During that time, I tried many times to ask to meet in person and talk things through, but we couldn’t actually meet, and this difficult period kept dragging on.
Then finally yesterday, I was able to get in touch with you, and after we talked it out at my place, it made me feel like the misunderstandings between us were cleared up and that we understood each other.
But today, after seeing the settlement proposal your lawyer sent, demanding that we need to respond within one or two hours, or that if today passes it will be considered that there’s no intention to settle… I feel like things will just go back to how they were before we met up yesterday, and it’s honestly really scary and overwhelming. Yesterday, we shared how we felt and I thought we’d made up…
If a new settlement agreement needs to be written, shouldn’t we first communicate about how it should be written, and then have the lawyers draft it? I don’t understand whether this approach even makes sense. As someone who’s already been labeled as the bad guy in this, I don’t know what more you want from me… I’m so confused.
Even so, all I want is for things to be resolved properly. The whole point of a settlement is to hold on to what should be kept and let go of what should be let go… but right now, it feels completely one-sided…
Park Na Rae: [Manager’s name], there’s no lawyer next to me right now, and Lee isn’t here either, so please just pick up the phone for a moment.
With the new bit of detail, netizens are now just as confused.

- “That manager is seriously malicious. In front of Park Na Rae, they played the ‘I’ll protect you, unnie’ role, but now it feels like they’re openly trying to destroy her. It’s scary.
- “If what that message says is true, it makes sense that Park Na Rae thought they had reconciled.”
- “Wow… you can really feel how desperately Park Na Rae wanted to resolve this in a humane way. Even after being stabbed in the back, she’s still speaking rationally. It’s heartbreaking.”
- “Park Na Rae really got blindsided… stay strong.”
- “This is insane. What is even happening?”
- “What the?! This plot twist is way too shocking. Why would they go that far?”

- “Looks like the manager is going to lose the lawsuit. They were clearly determined to take Park Na Rae down.”
- “Wait, this is completely different from everything we’ve been told so far.”
- “I feel sooo bad for Park Na Rae…”
- “The scariest thing in the world is people.”
- “From the start, it was obvious they were trying to cash in, so it’s not that shocking to me. What is shocking is that there seem to be more people involved. It really feels like they were preparing this in advance?”
Since then, Park Na Rae has denied all allegations raised by the manager—including claims of mistreatment—and is currently pursuing legal action.
