Park Na Rae And Former Managers’ Confidential Settlement Agreement Leaked

A settlement agreement between comedian Park Na Rae and her former managers has been revealed.

On the 15th, Munhwa Ilbo obtained and reported on a draft of the settlement agreement exchanged between Park Na Rae and her former managers, who have been clashing with ongoing accusations against each other.

According to the report, the draft clearly showed differences in positions between Park Na Rae’s side and the former managers. The exchanged agreement included a provision to pay money, but the specific settlement amount was not stated because there were stark differences in opinions regarding the reasons for payment and responsibility.

Park Na Rae’s side wrote that “the former employees confirm and agree that the additional payment was made out of goodwill, considering the relationship with the former employees, not based on any legal obligations of ANPARK (Park Na Rae’s one-person agency) and the artist.” Meanwhile, the former managers wrote, “Party A acknowledges without objection the unpaid wages, unpaid performance bonuses, unsettled amounts, and calculated sums according to relevant laws and contracts with parties B and C.

Additionally, Park Na Rae’s side added clauses to the agreement stating that “the former employees confirm and acknowledge that despite not processing the registration for cultural and arts planning business around September 2025, they falsely reported to the artist that the registration was completed,” and “the former employees acknowledge and agree that the omission of four major social insurance registrations was handled at their request and that ANPARK promptly processed the registrations once the employees requested it due to changes in circumstances.

Regarding penalty and forfeit clauses, Park Na Rae’s side demanded that “if any of the former employees violate any obligations under this agreement, they shall pay ANPARK and the artist a penalty of ₩1.00 billion KRW (about $684,000 USD) each.” The former managers’ draft included, “If either party violates this clause, such violation shall be deemed an admission of fault, and the offending party shall pay the other party a penalty of ₩30.0 million KRW (about $20,500 USD) per violation.”

Park Na Rae’s former managers announced a lawsuit claiming approximately ₩100 million KRW (about $68,400 USD) in damages on the 3rd of last month, citing workplace harassment, special injury, proxy prescription, and unpaid event fees. In response, Park Na Rae filed complaints against the former managers for attempted extortion and occupational embezzlement, intensifying the deep conflict between them.
