However, a recent interaction with a fan seems to be attempting to amend thoughts towards him.

On January 16, Super Junior headed to Malaysia for the latest date of their SUPER SHOW 10 tour.

While at the airport, Siwon spotted a fan he appeared to recognize, and asked them to tell their friends that he “really loves Muslims.”

Many reactions were highly skeptical of his words, questioning if he was being genuine or not, especially considering that Malaysia has a high Muslim population.

It seems Siwon will have to do more to convince netizens of his sincerity.
