ENHYPEN’s “THE SIN: VANISH” Tops The Weekly Album Charts
Group ENHYPEN has demonstrated their strength as a powerhouse in album sales.
According to Hanteo Chart on the 19th, ENHYPEN’s 7th mini album THE SIN: VANISH ranked first on the weekly album chart (tracking period January 12–18). The album sold over 1.65 million copies on its release day, the 16th, securing the top spot on the chart with just three days of tracking.
THE SIN: VANISH had already shot to number one on the Worldwide iTunes Albums chart. It topped the iTunes “Top Albums” chart in 10 countries/regions including Brazil, India, and Turkey, and entered the charts in a total of 52 countries/regions. It also held the highest position on Japan’s Line Music daily “Album Top 100” chart (January 17).
The title track “Knife” is also gaining popularity. The song rose 60 places from the previous day to number 8 on the Line Music daily “Song Top 100” (January 17) chart. It also entered YouTube’s “Trending Music” charts in 40 countries/regions (January 18).
THE SIN: VANISH tells the story of lovers who break taboos and run away for love in a world where humans and vampires coexist. The title track “Knife” expresses confidence in standing firm and confronting any threat. Its sharp synth sounds and the catchy chorus refrain “It’s a Knife” have captivated global listeners.
Various events that allow fans to immerse themselves more deeply in the album’s vampire narrative have also been prepared. ENHYPEN is partnering with the Korean Red Cross to conduct a blood donation campaign. Until the 25th, special souvenirs prepared by ENHYPEN will be given to those who complete blood donations at three blood donation centers (Sinchon, Gangnam Station, Seongsu) and blood donation buses throughout Seoul.
Additionally, from January 21 to 27, ENHYPEN will hold the “ENHYPEN THE SIN: VANISH POP-UP STORE” at a special event space on the basement first floor of Shinsegae Department Store Gangnam branch. This pop-up will not only showcase physical albums and official merchandise but will also be designed to provide an immersive experience of the album’s concept.
