Top K-Drama Actress Reveals Marriage To Younger Man
Actress Choi Jung Yoon has remarried, opening a happy second chapter in her life.
According to Xports News on February 12, Choi Jung Yoon had already registered her marriage with her partner in May of last year and made a fresh start. Her husband, referred to as Mr. A, is five years younger and works as an office employee. He is a junior of Choi Jung Yoon’s elementary school classmate. The two grew closer through their shared hobby of golf.
It was reported that Choi Jung Yoon’s 11-year-old daughter, Ji Woo, played the role of cupid. Even before Choi Jung Yoon and Mr. A officially began dating, Ji Woo was very fond of him and even called him “Dad.”

Choi Jung Yoon was not only charmed by Mr. A’s character, but also naturally came to decide on marriage after seeing how well Jiwoo followed him and how sincerely he treated her daughter. The two eventually became husband and wife.
“Because of my job as a celebrity, I felt like I should make it public. It’s not a world where you can hide things like before, and considering my child’s position, I thought about going public. My child is very happy with her dad. She proudly tells people, ‘My mom is an actress,’ but when it comes to talking about her dad, she hesitates without realizing it. She hasn’t hidden it from her friends or teachers, but it seemed like she couldn’t fully say everything she wanted. I thought it would be better to reveal the remarriage so my child wouldn’t feel uncomfortable.”
Speaking about her husband’s character, she was full of praises.
“He’s very calm. I’m active and have emotional ups and downs, but he balances me out and steadies me, so we’re well matched. We’re building a comfortable and stable family. He supports my work well and is great at parenting. He’s a blessing to both me and my daughter.”

As she begins this new chapter, she also shared a message for fans and the public.
“Rather than calling it a ‘sudden announcement,’ revealing my remarriage just happened in a natural and ordinary way. It may or may not become uncomfortable after going public, but I’ve lived receiving congratulations and support, and my family is very happy, so I’m very satisfied. Rather than looking at us negatively, I hope you’ll bless and support us. That would give us strength.”
