Actress Reveals Terrifying Photos of Symptoms While Recovering From Surgery

Back in January 2026, The Glory actress Cha Joo Young announced that she would step back from official schedules while recovering from a procedure to treat epistaxis (nosebleeds).

As of February 15, 2026 (KST), the recovering actress has taken to Instagram, sharing several photos and videos from years ago when she was actively suffering from severe, recurring symptoms.
The first photo, captioned “Five years ago,” a large amount of blood can be seen spilled across the asphalt after she experienced a heavy nosebleed.
In a follow-up clip, she wrote, “For over an hour…” showing that the bleeding would not stop.
Alongside the posts, Cha Joo Young added a heartfelt message:

The terrifying visuals of her symptoms left her fans deeply concerned and rooting for her full recovery.
- “OMG, I used to get nosebleeds pretty often too, but I’ve never seen anything like that.”
- “Oh my… I used to get really frequent nosebleeds as a kid and even took herbal medicine for it, but it was never that bad… If it’s to that extent, that’s something else.”
- “Wow, I’ve never seen someone bleed that much from a nosebleed.”
- “No, but if it’s that severe, that’s really concerning… I hope she recovers quickly.”
- “Oh my goodness… Please don’t be sick. Wishing you a speedy recovery!”

- “I used to have nonstop nosebleeds from kindergarten through senior year of high school. Once it started, it would last at least 20–30 minutes, but it completely stopped as soon as I turned 20… It’s been over 10 years now and I haven’t had a nosebleed since.”

- “I used to bleed from my nose for an hour every day when I was a kid too—I guess there were quite a few people like that. Anyway, I hope she gets better soon .”
