Singer and broadcaster, Lovelyz Lee Mijoo candidly revealed her past love life. She caught attention by confessing that what her ex-boyfriend did on Christmas was “a betrayal.”
On an episode of SBS entertainment show Uh, But Like, Seriously!, Lee Mijoo appeared and had a talk.
On that day, when Lee Sang Min mentioned, “Mijoo was betrayed by her ex-boyfriend,” Lee Mijoo opened up, saying, “That’s a story from a long time ago. It was Christmas.”
Lee Mijoo explained the situation: “I had something to do on Christmas, so I told my boyfriend in advance that I couldn’t meet him. But the next day, a friend called and asked me, ‘Is that not (boyfriend’s name), oppa?’” The friend told her that her boyfriend had called another woman over on Christmas.
She said, “He called an unnie of the group and went out, and I heard that she still hadn’t come back.” She added, “After hearing this, I called him right away, but he flatly denied it.”
Although there was no decisive proof, Lee Mijoo said, “Considering the circumstances, it was clear. I felt this wasn’t right,” and she ultimately chose to break up. She honestly shared, “I really didn’t want to break up, but I was so upset. That’s why I said we should break up.“
