In response to a story from someone who has been dating for seven years but feels that physical affection has become dull, she said, “That can be a natural phenomenon. But sometimes when bodies grow distant, hearts grow distant too,” pointing out how relationships can change. She particularly advised, “If he already feels like a neighborhood uncle to you, that’s something to seriously think about while you’re still dating.”
When a 26-year-old subscriber asked whether she should continue dating a boyfriend who matches her well in every way except sexual compatibility, Jang Yoon Ju gave a realistic answer.

To someone who shared that body insecurities had caused them to avoid physical intimacy, she responded, “The most important thing is restoring your confidence,” adding, “Through exercise and self-reflection, you can reconnect with yourself—and if necessary, even surgery can be an option.”
