BLACKPINK’s Jisoo And Seo In Guk Consider Possible Bollywood Debut
BLACKPINK member Jisoo and actor Seo In Guk got candid about their thoughts on working in a Bollywood project in a recent interview.
The pair, who are currently doing press appearances for their upcoming K-Drama, Boyfriend on Demand, were asked about their thoughts on Bollywood, the Hindi film industry in India. The interviewer brought up the question while talking about her experience of watching the show and asked, “When will Jisoo and Seo In Guk maybe feature in a Bollywood-style thing in that AI setup?” She also emphasized how both of them would be a great fit in Bollywood-adjacent projects because of their dancing and singing skills.
Seo In Guk answered immediately, saying, “If I’m given the opportunity, I would absolutely love to do it.” Jisoo followed up with an equally enthusiastic response, “I hope you can, you know. Please look out for us,” referring to the interviewer’s proposal to hook them up with producers.
This unexpected Bollywood shoutout has fans in India extremely excited, with many calling on top filmmakers to seize this opportunity.

While the popularity of Korean media worldwide has exploded over the past decade, Bollywood also has a strong global presence and is considered the third-largest film market. A collaboration between the two could definitely shake up the global stage if executed properly.
