Netflix Appearing Actress Announces Pregnancy Following Devastating Loss

Actress Lee Moon Jung has shared news of her pregnancy!

On March 6, Lee Moon Jung shared an update on her social media account, including two photos of herself wearing a black dress on the beach. In the images, Lee’s belly bump is apparent in the photos, revealing her pregnancy.

She also added a message, confirming her pregnancy and that she is expecting her first daughter. Lee also shared that she had suffered two miscarriages previously

We’re incredibly grateful that God blessed our family with the daughter we had hoped for, so Joon and Roy have become big brothers,” adding that she is currently 25 weeks pregnant. She continued, “My belly has now noticeably grown even to the naked eye, and my body feels much heavier.

We had planned for a third child for a long time, but before Gyul, I went through two miscarriages. It was very difficult both physically and emotionally, but when I tried to become pregnant again with the mindset that it would be our last attempt, Gyul came to us.

Lee also discussed her career, acknowledging her hiatus since giving birth and getting married, with her most recent drama appearance being in an episode Extraordinary Attorney Woo.

Since getting married and giving birth, it’s unfortunate that I’ve had fewer chances to share updates through my work, but even while carrying Gyul, I feel that my passion for acting is still strong. I hope to greet everyone again with news of a healthy birth and a good role.

Lee Moon Jung made her acting debut in 2008 and is known to audiences for her role in Reply 1988. In 2018, she married her now-husband and gave birth to two sons in 2020 and 2022.
