BTS Labeled Major “Nuisances” Due To Large Scale Comeback
KT, South Korea’s top telecom, has internally decided to fully close its headquarters building on March 21, 2026, the day of BTS’s concert. The measure was taken due to safety concerns, as a massive crowd is expected to gather on the day of the performance.
According to reporting by News1 on March 9, KT recently set a policy to close its headquarters building on the day of the concert and has begun internal preparations. As a result, employee access will be completely restricted that day, and commercial facilities inside the building will also suspend operations.

Businesses located inside the building, including coffee shops, bakeries, and restaurants, have already been notified that they must halt operations. A large influx of domestic and international fans is expected on March 21, when the concert will take place. Significant impact on nearby buildings and local businesses around the venue is considered unavoidable.
In particular, KT’s new headquarters building is located directly in front of the concert venue, making it known as a “prime viewing spot.”
“With a massive crowd expected on the day of the concert, there are serious safety concerns, so we decided to close the building. It will be a full shutdown, with not only the commercial facilities on the first and second floors but also employees completely prohibited from entering.”
Due to the closure, many businesses will be affected. As such, netizens have lashed out, labeling HYBE and BTS as “nuisances.”

- Must they go this far?
- Ah, I hate this.
- No, but they can just host it at a concert venue. Why are they kicking up such a fuss? Is their comeback a national event?
- The level of nuisance is crazy. It almost feels like they’re worried they can’t fill up a stadium so they’re trying to mobilize taxes.
- Legendary nuisances.
This is not the first time the comeback has sparked backlash due to the use of public resources. Public transport around the area will also be restricted during the comeback show. You can read more about the backlash below.
