Third-Gen Idol Directly Responds To Comments About McDonald’s Boycott, Sparks Heated Reactions
A former third-generation boy group member has sparked massive reactions after responding to fans’ comments about boycotting McDonald’s in support of Palestine.

Ilhoon, the idol in question, recently posted a bunch of photos of himself enjoying a meal at a McDonald’s. Soon enough, his comments were full of fans informing him about the ongoing BDS movement in support of Palestine.

Instead of ignoring the criticism, Ilhoon directly responded to one of the comments, saying that he “learned something” and that he would “pray for Palestine.”

This simple response immediately drew a huge wave of praise and appreciation for the former BTOB member. Though many acknowledged that it was the “bare minimum,” it also led people to call out other K-Pop idols on their silence regarding the Palestinian genocide.

This is the bare minimum for a human. Thank you, Ilhoon, for choosing awareness over ignorance. I always knew you were such a kindhearted person. 🤍 @ilhoonmikal pic.twitter.com/ZKjsJqJyRT

ilhoon’s acknowledgment is bare minimum, that’s a fact.
but choosing to be educated about it instead of ignoring is still a great win bc we are surrounded by artists who blatantly refuse to listen 🙏🏻
