Missing Member From OG Boy Group’s Reunion With Their Beautiful Wives Raises Speculation
Members of the first-generation K-Pop boy group Shinhwa gathered together for Lee Minwoo‘s wedding, marking a rare full-group moment—their 28 years together captured in a single photo. Well, all but one member, that is.
Photographer Cho Sun Hee shared photos from the wedding, held at a private location in Seoul, on her social media. She wrote, “Shinhwa is the group I’ve photographed the most,” capturing a glimpse of where each member is in life now. Married members Eric, Jun Jin, and Andy attended with their wives—Na Hye Mi, Ryu Yi Seo, and Lee Eun Joo, respectively. Eric was even seen holding his son, showing how he’s adjusting to his new dad life, too!
Kim Dongwan, who is unmarried, attended alone to celebrate his fellow member’s new beginning. Although he was recently caught up in a social media controversy, he remained present for the occasion.

Shinhwa is the group I’ve photographed the most. I never realized back then how quickly time would pass. Now they’re all attending Minwoo’s wedding with their spouses. However, Shin Hyesung was not seen in the photos. Following his past DUI controversy, for which he received a suspended prison sentence, he has largely refrained from public activities. He has continued to be absent from broadcasts, even being blurred out, leading to speculation that he did not attend the wedding. Some guessed that he may have attended but avoided being photographed. However, his presence was not confirmed in any images, and various theories about his absence continue to circulate.
