Girl Group Member Accuses Male Idol Of Starting Dating Rumors With Action On Stage
A K-Pop girl group member has addressed past dating rumors with a male idol, stating that the rumors started from an action he did to her while on stage.
On the 11th, a video titled “Did you date Super Junior!?” was posted on Super Junior Donghae and Eunhyuk‘s YouTube channel.
In the video, Donghae brought up the dating rumors between Eunhyuk and SeeYa‘s Boram. Eunhyuk asked back, “Are there people who believe those rumors?” and Boram responded, “No. I’m so sick of this.”
Boram said, “I remember it clearly,” explaining, “I didn’t do anything. It happened because of Eunhyuk.” Eunhyuk was shocked and said, “Because of me?!”
Boram continued, “We were performing at the Dream Concert and went on stage together at the end. Eunhyuk tapped my head as he passed by.”
When a past video evidence appeared, Donghae commented, “This isn’t something people do when they’re dating; it’s more like saying ‘Hey, I’m off,’” adding that Boram “looks annoyed.”
Upon hearing this, Eunhyuk and Boram admitted, “If we were dating, we couldn’t act like that.”
Boram continued, “The next day, the company asked ‘What’s going on between you two?’ I said we were just friends, but then an article was published,” expressing her surprise.
Near the end of the recording, Gyuri confessed, “I actually thought Boram and Eunhyuk were dating.” Gyuri added, “I thought they had been together but had already broken up. The misunderstanding was cleared up earlier,” bringing laughter.
