Fans Rip Into Source Music As LE SSERAFIM’s Chaewon Gets Benched For New Comeback
According to Source Music‘s recent announcement, LE SSERAFIM member Chaewon had to go to the hospital to receive treatment for her neck injury.
On May 19 (KST), Source Music released a statement informing fans that Chaewon had been advised by her medical team to “rest for a certain period and monitor her recovery.” Though the notice didn’t acknowledge the cause of the neck pain, fans immediately realized it was due to the strenuous choreography of “Celebration.” Chaewon had previously expressed that she was feeling pain in her neck when the group started performing the song live.

Due to the injury, Chaewon will have to sit out LE SSERAFIM’s upcoming schedules, including “university festivals, Spotify PURE FLOWERS LIVE, and music shows,” as per Source Music. The label also mentioned that her future schedules will be adjusted flexibly to accommodate her recovery.
This news has sparked a major backlash against Source Music and HYBE from LE SSERAFIM fans worldwide, who feel the “Celebration” choreography was a major oversight and a sign of incompetent artist management.

it’s sad and heartbreaking that le sserafim members’ biggest wish every comeback or tour has always been “for all five of us to be together and healthy,” because there was almost always a member missing due to health issues.. all the company's fault sigh
