“This is not normal…”

BTS‘s Jungkook recently did an interview, but allegations of manipulation on his comments about the members have sparked divided reactions.

Jungkook recently did a video for Harper’s BAZAAR Korea.

During the clip, when asked who he confides in, Jungkook said leader RM or Jimin.

When the video was posted, netizens claimed the clip had been manipulated, arguing that while Jungkook said “Jimin,” they believed the lip movements were “RM” and that the idol’s words had been altered.

In response to the question asking which member he talks to the most about his concerns, it was presented as ‘RM or Jimin.’ However, if you look at Jungkook’s lip movements, he clearly says ‘RM, RM.’

Why did @bazaarkorea manipulate the video like this? Please clarify your position regarding the video editing/manipulation and re-upload the video with the original interview content restored.

If you only look at Jungkook’s lip movements, after saying ‘RM,’ he does not say the word ‘Jimin.’ Why did you edit and manipulate the video and audio differently from each other?

Please explain why the audio was edited in post-production to differ from his original interview response, and upload the full unedited video.

Yet, some hit back at the allegations, claiming it was certain fans who seemed in denial about the friendship between Jimin and Jungkook.
