The response appeared to come from Choi Woo Jin’s mother, who also shared her gratitude for her son’s role in the film. In a post about attending the VIP premiere of Colony, she recalled the moment he was cast as the young version of Seo Young Chul. “He auditioned last winter,” she wrote.
This all reminded me of the day we were so happy after hearing that he had been cast as ‘young Seo Young Chul.’ To think he would be playing the child version of the amazing actor Koo Kyo Hwan. And just being able to take part in a work by director Yeon Sang Ho was such a grateful and honorable experience.
