Popular K-Drama Gets Entangled In Fake Casting Scam

Weak Hero, the globally popular K-Drama franchise, has gotten entangled in a scamming operation in Korea.

According to Playlist, the production house behind the Weak Hero series, cases of people being fake-street-casted for the show’s upcoming third season have been reported in recent days. On June 2, the company published an official notice, warning the public against this scam.

Playlist mentioned that the fraudulent casting was being carried out by a single individual impersonating a casting staff member. The company stated that they had nothing to do with the person and emphasized that they were not conducting any street casting for the show. They also urged the public to be vigilant and report such cases if they come across any of them.

Meanwhile, after the explosive success of Weak Hero and Weak Hero 2, fans have been eagerly waiting for a third season. But production for Weak Hero 3 is yet to be confirmed.
