Beloved Actress Recalls Ridiculous Experience Of Filming While Removing 200 Thorns Stuck On Her Butt

A beloved actress revealed a dizzying experience during filming, when 200 thorns got stuck on her butt, and she had to remove them under outrageous circumstances.

On the 5th, a video titled “Answering Carroties’ Questions. Cooking Mukbang Q&A” was posted on actress Lee Yu Bi’s YouTube channel.

Lee Yu Bi decided to answer fans’ questions while eating pasta she made herself. One fan asked, “I’m curious about the behind-the-scenes of The Escape of the Seven filming,” and Lee Yu Bi began, “There are so many behind-the-scenes stories. We filmed for two years, so there’s an endless amount.”

She explained, “There was a scene filmed early on in Jeju Island. I was hallucinating and seeing things, acting crazy, and we were filming in a cactus field. It was very dark because the scene had to be dark, so we couldn’t use much lighting.”

She added, “The staff already warned us to be careful of the cactus thorns. The thorns are so small that if they get stuck in you, you have to go to the hospital to remove them. So they really told us to be cautious.”

Lee Yoo Bi revealed her harrowing experience, saying, “There’s a scene where I’m supposed to fall backwards after seeing the hallucination. When I fell back, there were cacti behind me. About 200 cactus thorns stuck in my buttocks. Not arms or legs, but my buttocks.”

She said, “I went to a corner with the stylist to check, and she said there were too many thorns. She told me to take them out, but then it was time for my next take. I removed one thorn and filmed the scene, then after changing the camera setup, I’d come back to the corner and pull out more from the bushes.”

“But one time, trying to hurry, I pulled down my pants and suddenly heard a gasp from behind. A staff member was standing there. Since it was so dark, I couldn’t see and ended up exposing my butt in front of that person,” she confessed.

She continued, “I apologized sincerely,” and added, “Anyway, we kept filming all night, repeatedly removing the thorns.”
