Successful Girl Group To Disband After Upcoming Concert
Soon, a five-member idol group will bring their decade-long journey to an end.

Philosophy no Dance (also known as The Dance for Philosophy) is a Japanese idol girl group that debuted in 2015.
They made their major-label debut under Sony Music Labels on September 23, 2020, with the single “Don’t Stop the Dance”. Now, they’re getting ready to wrap up their activities once and for all.

According to a statement published on the group’s official website, the members will officially conclude their activities with a final solo concert at LINE CUBE SHIBUYA. The decision to disband was reached following extensive discussions among members and staff, following a landmark year for the group. 2025 marked three major milestones: the 10th anniversary of its formation, the fifth anniversary of its major-label debut, and the third anniversary of its current lineup.
Rather than disbanding abruptly, however, Philosophy no Dance has been busy with several projects leading up to their final show. They released a greatest-hits album in March and kicked off a nationwide farewell tour on April 19. The tour will end with their final show on June 13.
