Tomonaga Mio is a former member of the Japanese idol groups HKT48 and AKB48. She debuted in 2012 and announced her departure from both groups in 2019, partly due to the injuries she incurred during her onstage career. Her final performance with HKT48 took place on January 15, 2020.

To everyone who has supported me,
This might be a sudden announcement, but I’ve registered my marriage with Souto Yamauchi, whom I’ve been dating for some time.
Thanks to the many people who’ve supported and cheered me on, I’ve become who I am today. I’m truly grateful.
