Ex-Idol Makes A Dramatic Career Shift After Hiatus, Begins Working In Porn
While being a top celebrity appears to be a dream, many forget that celebrities who don’t reach astronomical levels of stardom can sometimes find themselves having to make a change. Some celebrities choose to change jobs instead of continuing in their current career for reasons outside of money.
Some also make the change because of money, like a former idol who has decided on an NSFW career path.
37-year-old Scorpion (Kenny) first appeared on the show Bang Bang Tang, which helped formed the group Lollipop F. He was part of the show’s second generation, but was not selected for debut.
Afterwards, he made his debut as an actor and appeared in Mysterious Incredible Terminator and Teacher Is Wrong. However, he took a hiatus from entertainment, and admitted that his acting career hadn’t gone as smooth as he imagined. As a result, he has now become a manager for porn actors and actresses instead!
Kenny has said that both the regular acting industry and adult acting industry market the fine line between reality and fantasy, which has made his transition easier. He also spoke about the adult acting scene in Taiwan, mentioning how diverse the stars are, often working other “normal” jobs outside of their adult film work.
He mentioned that with how things are, and how actors are able to manage parts of their career it can present new difficulties.
It seems like he is ready to take on the challenges in his new career!
