10 Idols & Groups Who Stan LOONA Just As Much As You Do

“Stan LOONA” isn’t just a meme, it’s a lifestyle.

From their pre-debut project to their upcoming September comeback, LOONA has become one of the biggest new groups worldwide. And it’s not just K-Pop fans who are obsessed—even fellow idols stan LOONA. Just take a look at this long list of self-confessed Orbits.

1. Sunmi

Star soloist Sunmi is known to be one of LOONA’s biggest fans. No wonder she was super excited to see Heejin, Kim Lip, Choerry, Yves, and Olivia Hye covering her song, “Full Moon”, on M Countdown.

In one live broadcast, Sunmi told fans, “LOONA is the best!“. She also shared a letter Yves sent to her on Instagram.

2. Renjun (NCT)

While hosting his radio show earlier this year, NCT‘s Renjun played LOONA’s “So What”, describing it as “very explosive” and “very fierce“. He also said he likes the MV and choreography, which add to the appeal of the song.

And that wasn’t the last time he played their songs. Last month, he played LOONA – Odd Eye Circle‘s “Girl Front”, and this month, he played “Butterfly”.

3. Nako (IZ*ONE)

MBC‘s Show Champion recently introduced a segment asking idols to send video-letters to stars they want to befriend. When IZ*ONE participated, Nako‘s choice was none other than her sunbaenim Chuu.

According to Nako, Chuu is “so cute and so great on stage“, which is why she’d love to befriend her.

4. Bang Chan (Stray Kids)

Stray Kids‘s Bang Chan is such a big LOONA stan, he played their song “Butterfly” for fans in a live broadcast last December.

Bang Chan went on to say he loves the song’s message, and admitted he thinks LOONA is “such an artist group” that “needs more recognition“.

At a GFRIEND fansign earlier this year, one Buddy got to ask the members which idol or celebrity they’d like to become close with. SinB’s answer? Yves, who she described as “so pretty“.

SinB also once sang along to LOONA’s “So What” for her fans on live broadcast.

6. Seunghee (Oh My Girl)

In February this year, Oh My Girl‘s Seunghee hosted an episode of IDOL RADIO, and the guests were none other than LOONA.

After the broadcast, fans asked Seunghee if she became a LOONA fan after hosting the show. But surprisingly, Seunghee revealed she was already a fan the whole time.

7. Yoohyeon (Dreamcatcher)

Talking to fans in a live broadcast, Dreamcatcher‘s Yoohyeon revealed she’s also a LOONA fan.

Alongside singing some of “So What”, she also told fans her favorite member: Heejin, who is “nice like an angel“.

8. Weki Meki

When Show Champion asked Weki Meki‘s Elly to send a video-letter to an idol she wants to befriend, her top choice was Yves.

Elly said she’s “a big fan” and joked that she watches Yves’ videos every day.

Yoojung is definitely a fan of the group too.

When she posted her playlist on her Instagram story, it featured “So What”, “Hi High”, “Heart Attack” by Chuu, and “love4eva” by LOONA – yyxy.

9. Minju (GWSN)

In a live broadcast, Minju from GWSN told fans that she loves Yves. LOONA had just come back with “So What” at the time, and Minju revealed that she was “enjoying the song so much“.

She also said she likes Yves’s face, describing her as “pretty” and “very very awesome“.

10. Dreamnote

Several Dreamnote members are all big LOONA fans. In a live broadcast back in March, Eunjo told fans that one of her favorite songs of the moment was “So What”.

And last year, a fan gifted the group copies of LOONA’s album at a fansign. Youi told the fan she’s a big fan of Olivia Hye.

Meanwhile, Lara (who had previously said she listens to LOONA) even signed her album with “I <3 LOONA”.
