6 Ways BLACKPINK’s “Actress Jennie” Proves She’s Leading Lady Material

Fans can’t wait to finally see actress Jennie!

TV Daily recently reported that BLACKPINK‘s Jennie has been offered a role on HBO‘s The Idol, co-created by Sam Levinson, The Weeknd, and Reza Fahim. And the series will star The Weeknd, Lily-Rose Depp, and Troye Sivan.

If Jennie accepts the offer, this will make her the second BLACKPINK member to feature in a drama series after Jisoo, who starred in the Disney Plus drama Snowdrop in 2021.

6. Her acting in the iconic Paradise City advertisement

The closest that Jennie has come to an acting debut was for an advertisement for Paradise City. The advertisement had a whole storyline of Jennie portraying Cheongson, a princess in 1771 who escaped to the place of her dreams.
