LIMITLESS A.M (Seong Hyunwoo) Speaks Up About His Unfair Elimination Due To Vote Manipulation

He was a victim of the infamous “Produce 101” vote manipulation.

The court recently revealed the names of the Produce 101 trainees who were unfairly eliminated due to PD Ahn Joon Young‘s vote manipulation, one of which was LIMITLESS member, A.M, also known as Seong Hyunwoo.

 

And through his social media, Seong Hyunwoo addressed the announcement and expressed his shock by the news.

I was also shocked when I received calls from everyone who was worried and regretful this morning. I apologize to fans for worrying them.

Seong Hyunwoo also recalled the days when he gave it his all on the show in hopes to show the best side of himself.

I was so desperate for the opportunity, and I wanted to perfect my performance as much as I could, so I remember praticing with the director until morning due to my desperation to show my face once more to my fans…

And while he still feels regretful for what happened, Seong Hyunwoo expressed his desire to look at the bright side.

I felt sad at the time, and I still feel sad now. But rather than my elimination, I feel satisfied about the fact that I did my best during that precious opportunity, and I’m thankful I was able to grow. I also thought it was a relief that I could at least express my final thoughts.

Regardless of what happened in the past, Seong Hyunwoo simply hopes fans will continue to cheer him on as he chases after his dream in entertainment.

It was revealed that Seong Hyunwoo was eliminated during the first round on  Produce 101 Season 2.

For their roles in the manipulation, Ahn Joon Young was sentenced to two years in prison and fined ₩37 million KRW ($33,434 USD) while Kim Yong Bum was sentenced to 20 months in prison.
