Here’s What The New SM Rookies’ MBTI Results Reveal About Their Personalities
Following SM Entertainment‘s announcement of three new SM Rookies, fans have been eagerly awaiting more information and content from the new rookies. In a recent video, Shohei, Eunseok, and Seunghan took what they described as a newer version of the Myers-Briggs Personality Test and revealed how their MBTIs have changed!
1. Shohei (ISFJ)
According to Shohei, his MBTI results changed from ESFJ to ISFJ, indicating he went from a more extroverted personality type to someone who is more introverted. Both personality types are sentinels, known for their practicality and focus on order, security, and stability.
Answering the question about rationality over emotions, Shohei says that he thinks he is someone who is rational, something that Eunseok agrees with.

❤ "i tend to follow rationality rather than emotions"
❤ how about shohei hyung?
💙 rationality over emotions.. i'm not sure
💙 rational.. i think i'm rational tho

Shohei’s ISFJ personality indicates he is the “defender” type. ISFJ’s are sensitive and caring, have excellent analytical abilities, and are incredibly hardworking and devoted. Shohei is 26 years old, older than the usual trainees, and this indicates that he was devoted to making his dreams come true, regardless of what it took. Fans can expect Shohei to work hard to succeed wherever he debuts!
2. Eunseok (ISTP)
Eunseok’s personality type changed from ISFP to ISTP, something he considered much more accurate. These personality types are explorers, spontaneity, ingenuity, and flexibility regardless of their inversion or extroversion.
During their interview with NCT’s Doyoung and Jungwoo on The NCT Show, Eunseok asked how to be entertaining and fun on shows, something someone with a more introverted personality may worry about.
Virtuosos or ISTP’s are known for their curiosity and ability to change and learn from their environment as needed. This sort of personality is perfect for someone who is a trainee, meaning they’ll be able to take criticism and instruction and do exactly what they need to do to improve!
3. Seunghan (ENFP)
Seunghan’s MBTI changed from INFP to ENFP, reflecting a change from introversion to extroversion. These personality types are both diplomats, known for their empathy and diplomacy.
Seunghan recalled that the first person he spoke to at SM was Shohei and that he gave him directions. For many people, this sort of interaction might not be memorable, but Campaigners or ENFPs are known to seek out connections with people. This means that the smallest action can make a big impact on the ENFP and how they see you!
Seunghan’s personality type means that he is able to both be extremely introspective and have a more carefree approach to life. This type of personality is someone who would thrive in the type of environment that K-Pop groups create.
Do you have the same MBTI’s as any of the SM Rookies?
