2AM‘s Jokwon (also known as Jo Kwon) was one of HyunA’s friends mentioned to have unfollowed following the dating news.

Amid Koreans guessing that the friendship must have been affected by the problematic past of HyunA’s new boyfriend, Jokwon stepped forward in her defense.

In a brief Instagram story featuring HyunA, Jokwon clarified that “Regardless of [his] Instagram following, [he is] good friends with HyunA.” While questioning what might have led to the nonsense speculations, Jokwon also commented that the two still keep in touch regularly.
