50-Year-Old Korean Man Uses Charity Work To Sexually Assault Filipino Children

It was recently reported through MBC‘s Hidden Eye that a 50-year-old Korean man had impregnated a 14-year-old girl. He ran a study room in the Philippines, claiming to want to teach them. He ended up frequently committing sex crimes through this study room.

Identified only by his last name, Chung, he collected donations by filming and uploading videos of him running a study room in slums in the Philippines. Through this, he even provided financial support to children from poor backgrounds.

However, Chung committed sex crimes by controlling children and making physical contact with them on a daily basis using financial support as an excuse. It has been revealed that he also impregnated a 14-year-old girl.

Students attending the study room testified that they saw Chung with a naked child and also with a pregnant victim. They also testified that they witnessed Chung asking the victim if she could follow his instructions after watching an inappropriate video. With regards to the pregnant teen, Chung has remarked that “the girl seduced me first.”

Often, Korean men have been criticized for frequenting the Philippines to solicit sex workers.
