As a talented vocalist, Lily has already created a niche for herself in the industry. But the 23-year-old idol has done something unfathomable with her group’s upcoming album.

NMIXX’s fifth EP, Heavy Serenade, is set to be released next month, and according to its credits, the sixth track, “Loud,” was written entirely by Lily alone!

While K-Pop idols frequently participate in writing and producing their own songs, they usually do it as one among multiple contributors. While “Loud” has multiple names credited for its composition and arrangement, Lily is the sole lyric-writer, which has led many fans to label this achievement as “unheard of in K-Pop.”

Aside from “Loud,” Lily also has credits for the lyrics of “Crescendo.” This EP will also mark the songwriting debut of her fellow member Bae, who contributed to the lyrics of the fourth track, “Different Girl.”
