Ji Chang Wook attended the event on October 23 at the Haeurim Theater of the National Theater in Jangchung-dong, Seoul. While his dapper visuals on the red carpet became a hot topic immediately, his big win of the night— the Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism’s Commendation— also made headlines.

However, for fans, an unexpectedly hilarious moment from the event has become the highlight of the night. While actor Choo Young Woo, who also won the same award as Ji Chang Wook, was giving his acceptance speech on the stage, he was caught in the background, shaking the gift box the winners received, supposedly trying to inspect its contents.

As if this uncharacteristic moment was not funny enough, someone also filmed him at his seat, impatiently opening up the wrapping and checking the item inside— presumably a watch— right in the middle of an announcement. He paused for a brief second to clap and resumed the task on hand immediately.
