Actress Ha Yeon Soo Rumored To Have Quit The Entertainment Industry

She has quit acting for a new career.

Actress Ha Yeon Soo is rumored to have quit the entertainment industry and transitioned to painting.

According to an exclusive report from Osen, Ha Yeon Soo’s contract with her agency ANDMARQ expired earlier this year. After her contract ended, Ha Yeon Soo traveled to Japan and reportedly has begun studying art. She has recently been posting more in Japanese on her personal Instagram account and has also shown a lot of her artworks through her uploads.

What stands out is that Ha Yeon Soo’s profile can no longer be found on portal sites such as Naver or Daum. Generally, celebrities will have their basic profile information shown when their name is searched on these sites, but searching Ha Yeon Soo’s name does not bring up the actress, only a model with the same name.

It’s not known whether Ha Yeon Soo herself requested the deletion or if it was her agency, but insiders believe she is attempting to start a new chapter in her life as a painter, not a celebrity. It was also noted that Ha Yeon Soo did not search for a new agency following the expiration of her contract.

Ha Yeon Soo debuted in 2013 in the movie Very Ordinary Couple and also had prominent roles in K-Dramas Monstar, Potato Star 2013QR3, and Rich Man. Her last acting appearance was in 2019 in the movie Rosebud.
